On September 13th, 2026, exactly 30 years after the passing of Tupac Shakur, I sat down and created “Thug In Peace Makaveli.”
This record came from a real place. Tupac’s music has had a major impact on my life, both personally and as an artist. His music helped me through some of the darkest periods of my life, and Me Against the World remains my favorite album of all time, regardless of genre.
So on the 30th anniversary of his passing, I wanted to pay tribute the way I know best: through music.
“Thug In Peace Makaveli” was written and made on September 13th, and after initially sharing it on YouTube and SoundCloud, the official release is now available across all DSPs.
This isn’t about trying to recreate Pac or live in the past. It’s about showing respect to an artist whose words, music and legacy continue to reach people three decades later.
Thirty years gone, Makaveli still lives on.
